Description
Somewhat hidden just south of the Table Mesa Park-n-Ride lies CU South Campus. South Campus features a tennis complex and the Buffalo Ranch Cross Country course and two miles of dirt road around the perimeter of the old gravel quarry. The best use of CU South Campus is as part of a larger hike in the immediate area. Avoid the temptation to take the faint dirt road heading south from the southernmost point of the loop. It threatens to link up to the South Boulder Creek Trail, but then kills that fun by dead ending at a fence instead.
