Description
This is probably way more detail than anyone needs, but this is my first upload, so sue me.Park at the forest picnic area and start on the on the obvious trailhead. Almost immediately, take the first left turn onto the Bridle Trail. In about half a mile, it goes down a small hill and across the road. You'll cross a bridge shortly afterwards.Take the Bridle Trail to the Strawberry Picnic Area, then after taking a detour to hike the White Pine Trail (about 1000m), follow the All-Purpose Trail (asphalt), which runs parallel to the road, until it ends. At that point, cross the road and head back south along the gravel trail. It follows the road for a bit, then climbs a tiny, somewhat steep hill before going into the woods. The trail goes back through strawberry, across the field from the parking lot. Keep following it as it crosses a closed (yet for some reason, recently repaved?) road, and take a right at the fork. You'll keep on going, hiking through the woods for a bit, and will eventually cross the All-Purpose Trail. The trail will cross the main road, where you'll turn right to get back on the Bridle Trail that you took in the beginning of the hike. Follow it back towards the starting location. After crossing the bridge on the way back, you get to choose your own adventure:a) Go back the way you came in the beginningb) Cross the road and follow the All-Purpose Trail as it wraps around and passes the nature centerc) Hike through the nature center parking lot, then cross the road and sprint down the straight gravel trail to the parking lot (yes, you must sprint!)
