This trail begins by ascending a wash. Though the hiking isn't too technical, be prepared for an engaging climb with some sand and slabs. Once you've reached the top of the mesa, the trail doubles back on easier, flatter terrain. Hike about a quarter mile to reach the titular labyrinth: a spiraling rock garden, with views of the Sangre de Cristo an Sawatch mountain ranges.
