Point to Point
The Kipps Loop Trail connects with the Greenland Trail on both the north and south ends, creating one single eight-mile loop. While the initial climb on the south end can be a bit strenuous, you are rewarded with an outstanding view of Pikes Peak to the south and the surrounding buttes in all other directions.
At the top of the climb, there is a small picnic table where you can rest your legs and get a break from the sun. This is the only point on the trail that is shaded.
Once you crest the saddle, it is all downhill back to the Greenland Trail.
