Ocean Path

The Blackwoods Campground Ocean Path is a short trail that leads from the Blackwoods Campground down to Ocean. The trail departs from loop A and follows a fire road down to the park loop road where there is a section marked for you to cross. After crossing the road, the trail ends on the rocks above the Atlantic Ocean where views of Otter Point, boats sailing by, and the rugged Maine Coast await you. Once you have enjoyed the views, and maybe ventured closer to the ocean, you can return to the campground by retracing your steps.
