Lone Oak Trail

Grassland trail (with a few live oaks) in the Pismo Preserve highlands. Narrow singletrack trail looks recently constructed. Panoramic coastal views at top, and on the initial 0.9 mi 200' switchbacks climb to the main loop. (Note: a complete up-down return to the trailhead is 3.2 mi not 2.3 mi, as the spur should be counted both directions). Access to the trailhead is from the "Range Road", 0.2 mi paved/gravel from the Pismo Preserve parking lot, but signed "Horses and Bikes".
