Windy Ridge Trail (Yellow)

Windy Ridge Trail (Yellow) starts at a playground area. Continue ahead on a wide path, following the yellow blazes as the trail climbs gently. At 0.2 miles you'll see an abandoned stone water fountain on the left. The trail narrows and descends gradually along the side of a hill. At 0.4 miles there is a sharp turn to the left, and soon you'll be traveling parallel to Rhinehart Brook. At 0.5 miles the yellow-blazed trail ends at the junction with Main Trail (White) and Riverside Trail (Red). This is a nice trail to add onto longer hikes in the area.
