Waterfall Overlook Trail

The trail starts near the booth where you pay to park, which is directly across from the bathrooms. Begin by taking some stairs leading down from the road. Continue past another set of stairs that lead down to the Pelton Wheel. Walk underneath Highway 1 using the pedestrian underpass and turn right. Follow the trail to its end at the viewing platform. If parking along Highway 1, you can access this trail by either walking into the park and accessing the trail as described above or by walking to a metal wire fence at the beginning of the trail leading to the campsites and turning right. This short connector trail leads to the waterfall trail.
