This short spur trail off of the Appalachian Trail will take you to the top of Grassy Ridge Bald. On the way up this narrow trail, you'll hike through thick rhododendron groves, with the occasional berry bush in between, until you reach the bald about halfway up. Atop the Grassy Ridge Bald, you'll have 360-degree views of North Carolina and Tennessee.
