Description
Walls of Jericho Trail is often very busy, so if you're looking for solitude and some rocky ledge scenery then Bear Den Point Loop should work for you. The trail circles around a rock table accented by moss ferns and water in early spring. Several sections of this trail are neither blazed nor well-marked so you'll be guessing where the trail goes before picking up the next red marker. There are also a lot of felled trees and briars along the trail, so be prepared to bust through or box around. Scenic beauty: 3 out of 5 Trail maintenance: 2 out of 5 Solitude: 5 out of 5
