Hopa Maste

Start from one of three places, making the trail shorter or longer. Start at the junction of Round The Crown, take a short connector from the Pony Express or at the junction with Tech Essence. For this description, the start will be at the junction from Tech Essence: Go downhill through the pines and wind around before climbing back up and crossing through a gate in a fence line. Take a left and head down into a meadow with tall grass. The trail turns to the right and heads uphill again through oak lined ravines which give way to flat, open prairie at the top. Sharp hairpin turns and curves lead the trail down, then back up. At this point, the Pony Express trail is just off to the right making any escape to a different route if desired. Follow the trail uphill until it joins the Round The Crown Trail where you can continue west around the summit block or east back to the Pony Express.
