Description
This is a short trail that starts just after the barricades on the closed section of Bankhead Parkway. It runs just 1/10 of a mile down to cold spring cave and runs parallel to Cold Spring Creek which, during wet periods, has very beautiful waterfalls. The trail itself is steep with a lot of rocks which requires some scrambling. Once you reach Cold Spring Cave, the trail ends. Do not enter the cave unless you have the proper gear and are trained in the art of caving.
