Falls and Lake Trail

This is a beautiful, moderate hike near Port Alsworth. Brown bears, black bears and moose can be seen but not too often. Ptarmigan occasionally break the silence of this forest, boardwalks through meadows break from the mostly shaded path, views of mountains rise through the tree line, and Tanalian Falls is a world class reward to an already rewarding jaunt.
