Path Type
Point to Point
From the trailhead, the wide gravel path skirts the freshwater Kehoe Marsh where songbirds proliferate. Soon the wet habit turns to sandy dunes and the ocean appears. In spring (especially April), take a spur trail to the right near a bench to witness an explosion of wildflowers on the bluffs. Retrace your steps back to the regular Kehoe Beach trail for a picnic or relaxing stroll the wide sandy beach. Note: bikes are allowed on this trail.
