DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description
Pine Tree starts off of Cascade and travels downhill and crosses Staton Road near the intersection with !Cascade Lake Road. It connects with Longside then climbs sharply before descending on one of DuPont's better downhill sections for close to a mile on the way back to Staton Road. After crossing Staton Road, the trail climbs for 0.4 miles where it ends at the intersection with Sheep Mountain near the start of Cascade.
