Ball O' Nails

This trail connects Dead Elvis, Advanced Trig, and Helter Skelter to Buddha. As you hike east from the end of Dead Elvis and pass the intersection with Advanced Trig to your right, the trail is a slight uphill with melon sized rocks. Did you notice the big ball of rusty nails hanging in the tree just off the right side of the trail as you hammered through the rocks? Well, next time. The trail loops through the pine/hardwood forest at the base of Purdham Hill before climbing the side of the hill with a series of switchbacks. Stay left at the intersection with the Love Trail and hike to where the trail connects with Buddha.
