Wawona Meadow Loop Trail

The Wawona Meadow Loop trail is as it sounds: a loop around the meadow. It's an easy, flat 3.5 mile trail that starts at a parking lot in the middle of the Wawona golf course. This is a beautiful trail that takes you through a dense forest. The way is full of wildflowers in the spring and summer along with several species of plants. In the fall the changing colors of the leaves allow for an entirely different, though still appealing experience. The trail is a great place for any type of pedestrian travel, whether you want to take your time or if you'd prefer to travel quickly. You won't see many people on the trail no matter the crowd in Wawona, allowing you to enjoy the forest in peace. Pets are allowed on the trail as well which is an added bonus. In addition, since the trail is a loop you cannot get lost if you simply follow it.
