Description
The Wincopin Trail is located at the confluence of the Little Patuxent and Middle Patuxent River. The Red Trail is the main trail from the entrance and is well-marked. It is an out and back with a small loop at the end. The Red Trail is mostly dirt/sand with a few sections of rocks and roots. There is one section where you'll hike along a ridge with the Little Patuxent River on both sides. The hike is completely within a forest and is shaded.
