The portion of this trail above French Trail is secluded and not much traveled. From the Madrone Trail, it contours across to a tributary creek and then follows the water down to the French Trail. Between French Trail and Tres Sendas Trail, there is a steep section at the top, and during wet periods the creek can flow onto the trail in one or two spots.
