Point to Point
This multi-use trail is accessed from the Auger Falls Park Trailhead, but requires at least a mile of additional travel to get to the start of the trail on its east side. The trail is a nicely maintained singletrack, with a few rocky sections for the benefit of adventurous mountain bikers. The trail also gets somewhat close to the edge of some cliff bands that hang over the river, so that can get your heart racing if you are on a bike! These cliff outcroppings also provide excellent views of the river, its rapids, and Auger Falls, a 30-foot drop in the river that corkscrews in a different direction than the main flow of the river. It is pretty neat.
