Cardinal Trail

Cardinal Trail is a paved loop trail accessed via the trailhead off of Bellefontaine Road. The trail cuts through open grassy areas and around the Fountain Lake Ballfield Complex. The western portion of the trail follows along the shores of Bellefontaine Lake which is stocked for fishing. Past the lake, the trail enters an upland forest made up mostly of mature oak trees. The trail can also be used to connect with Maline Creek Trail and Fox Den Trail.
