Point to Point
From the trailhead at French Gulch Divide, the trail goes up across the south slope of Little Grayback Mountain. It's mostly smooth and scenic, although there are one or two places where the trail surface is composed of loose rock, and at times the oak and mountain mahogany may begin to encroach upon the trail. The trail doesn't go over the top of Little Grayback Mountain, but gains the ridge to the east of the summit. At the end of the singletrack, you may choose to descend the way you came up, or continue around a loop which includes Mule Mountain Trail.
