Wellbourne Warden Cabin Spur

The spur trail to Wellbourne Warden Cabin is found 7.5 miles west of Willow Creek trail camp on the North Boundary Trail - Willow Creek to Three Slides. This is between the Wellbourne horse camp and Wellbourne trail/hiker camp, and right before/east of Wellbourne Creek. The trail, on the right/north side of the North Boundary Trail, is not marked. It follows Wellbourne Creek upstream through the forest, crosses the creek on an old wooden bridge after a little less than a quarter mile, and emerges into a clearing with the warden cabin and outbuildings ahead. From the warden cabin's front yard, there are great views of the mountains to the south on the other side of the Snake Indian River, including the double peaked Rajah at 9,901 ft.
