Description
This is the popular West Tiger #3 trail that connects to/from the Cable Line Trail to the trailhead. This broad, well maintained trail offers a more gentle path of ascent/descent, particularly after climbing up the Cable Line Trail. The trail surface is wide (mostly doubletrack) and well maintained. Hike through tall regrowth trees with a thick undergrowth of green ferns. West Tiger is a great training location due to its proximity to Seattle and the potential for vertical gain (~2,000ft possible).
