Cape Meares Lighthouse Loop

From the parking lot, hike down a wide, paved path to the lighthouse. There are several lookouts along the way, each with views of the bay to the north. The lighthouse is located at the end of Cape Meares. Lighthouse tours are available by entering the gift shop. Only a limited number of people are allowed in the lighthouse at a time, so you might have to wait before you can enter the lighthouse. From the lighthouse, you can head back the direction you came or continue on the loop which turns to packed dirt. The second half of the loop skirts the south side of Cape Meares with views of Short Beach and Three Arch Rocks.
