Starting from the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve, Woodland Trail crosses Moose-Wilson Road and rolls along gentle terrain through the forest to reach the panoramic shore of Phelps Lake. This trail is commonly done in conjunction with Lake Creek Trail, making a loop to the lake and back.
