Van Horn Overlook Trail

The Van Horn Overlook Trail takes a direct line up to the top of Van Horn Park and meets back up with Hunter Creek Overlook Trail. This short trail is worthy for the great views at the top! The climb is on a well-defined singletrack that crosses over a few overgrown switchbacks. Enjoy the view of the entire Elk Mountain range from the top of the hill before descending the north side. This part of the trail is not as well defined but offers good off-camber hiking through aspen groves and grassy fields.
