Description
Use Caution! This trail is VERY popular with mountain bikes and hikers should be aware of their surroundings and other users on the trail. This trail will either be one of your favorite experiences in Moab, or your worst nightmare. There are a lot of rocks, bedrock, ledges and other technical features and its often covered in mountain bikers; but everything is doable. There's some exposure in spots, although it's not as edgy as the Portal. The trail follows gold blazes painted on the rock. The old blue dots can still be found if you look, and they lead you to a higher level of challenge. At the end of this trail, you can continue to Portal, or take Poison Spider more of a jeep route, but also much less exposure.
