The Windows is a great little hike that takes you to three huge arches. It is one of the most popular in the park so don't plan on having the place to yourself. You can see the North Window Arch from the parking lot. The trail has several steps and is very easy. As you approach the North Window you start to see how massive it is. You will next come to South Window Arch. It looks very similar but you can't easily sit inside it like you can with the north one. The scenery in this area is incredible! From here, you can look to the west and see the very large Turret Arch that you will soon visit. As you near Turret Arch look behind you for a good look at both Windows. Turret Arch is not as wide as the windows but it is much taller and I think it is the coolest of the three. You can get really cool photos of the Windows seen through Turret Arch. After Turret Arch the trail will pop you out back at the parking lot.
All Clear
The parking lot was pretty busy so I expected a lot of people. Most people were flocking to a few hot spots and shying away from other areas so we went where there were less people. It was very warm in the sun so we took advantage of rest time in the shade and lots of hydration.
