There and Back
The hike to Pine Creek Waterfall in Zion National Park is an easy trek with some light rock scrambling involved. It will take you into a scenic canyon with a small waterfall at the end. You can find parking in many places along Route 9, but the best spot is a large shoulder right by the trailhead. Follow the clearly marked trail until it reaches the creek. Once there you will cross the river on the dry rocks, and the trail picks back up on the other side. It meanders for a short distance before eventually giving way to rock scrambling. You can scramble on the left or the right side of the creek. The left side is more navigable, but the right side adds in some fun bouldering and rock scrambling if you feel comfortable. As you continue to meander up the creek, eventually you will reach the waterfall and small pool. Simply reverse your course to work you way back to the car!
