The Star Trail traverses from the Roanoke River to Roanoke's highest point - the summit of Mill Mountain (1,703 ft.) and the Roanoke Star. This trail is a 3.4-mile round trip, out-and-back hike that is moderately difficult. The trail does connect up with several other trails in the park for hikers looking to extend their hike.
