Village Bound

This is the recommended uphill singletrack on the Snowmass ski area, but is also a nice descent. The trail starts off the Sam's Knob work road, just behind the snowmaking building at the mid-station of the Village Express chairlift. It crosses several ski runs, and aspen groves with great wildflowers. The trail ends just behind the water treatment facility, and can be accessed by climbing the work road on Fanny Hill from the Snowmass Village Mall. Note: There are plans to build a new uphill route for the first portion of the trail to make it easier. There is also talk of trying to connect the start of the trail to the Snowmass Village Mall to avoid having to use the road.
