Description
This loop will ascend on Lower Jenni's Trail and descend down to the bottom on Crescent Mine Grade (CMG) Trail. It can be tricky to find the start of Jenni's trail- take the paved ramp to the right of where the zip lines and alpine roller coaster end at the Park City resort base area. Lower Jenni's Trail is a popular uphill route for users who are not riding the ski lifts. This wide, gradual climb passes through scrubby thickets and aspen stands as it crosses several ski runs. At the 4-way intersection [Lower !Jenni's Trail, Jenni's Trail and Crescent Mine Grade (CMG)] take Crescent Mine Grade (CMG) downhill, to the east. Crescent Mine Grade is a former mining road with an extremely consistent grade. The shrieks and yells you hear towards the bottom of CMG are not the hapless victims of sasquatch attacks - instead they come from the zip line/alpine slide/roller coaster circus at the base area. Stop and watch if you're interested, the trail goes very close to the tracks in several places. End this loop by twisting and turning down the ski run called Home Run which will deposit you back at the resort's base area.
