Description
Travel along the Gumbo Limbo Trail for an immersive experience in the hardwood hammocks that populate so much of Everglades National Park. Starting at the Royal Palm Visitor Center, travel south along the trail through expansive royal palms, gumbo limbo trees, bromeliads, and ferns. Take your time along this short loop, basking in the shade provided by these towering testaments of time. It's not often that you can find shelter from the hot Florida sun while in the Everglades, so enjoy it while you can!
