Description
This is an enjoyable alternative to Lost Canyon Trail if you are looking for a slightly longer Mineral King loop. Moderate elevation gain is to be expected until one mile before Little Claire Lake. There's nice camping at Little Claire and Forester Lakes. Continue to Rattlesnake to complete the loop over Franklin Pass. Pay attention to footprints at Forester Lake, as the trail takes a hard right that was unmarked, but fairly easy to follow.
