Siltstone Trail

This longer trail starts at the Jefferson Memorial Forest Visitor Center and ends at Scotts Gap Road. You can add the Scott's Gap loop for some additional mileage. This trail starts out with a couple of grueling climbs in the first two miles before settling in on a ridge, though smaller hills are aplenty. In the spring and winter you get some great views through the trees, and in the fall, the colors are spectacular.
