Description
Lower Spruce Road is an improved fire road with varying sized gravel and a few large rocks embedded into the tread. After hiking Fire Tower Trail to the river, take Lower Spruce Road to the south on Upper Spruce Road back to Powder Puff or North West Ridge Road. From the Shavers Fork River, Lower Spruce Road is a steady climb back up the mountain.
