Point to Point
The trailhead begins at a small graveled parking lot (approximately room for 6 vehicles). The trail goes downhill for 0.25 mile and parallels a gravel access road. The trail then turns up hill. Water was running down the trail for a bit and there were some washed out areas, but the footing was good due to the abundant sand.
Portions of the trail also had a fair amount of cobbles, but again the footing was good. The middle portion of the trail 0.65 to 0.95 was steep but not difficult. The trail was a bit narrow in some sections but very passable.
There was no evident blazing for this trail but it was very obvious. From 1.0 miles to 1.25 the trail is very level and the last 0.15 miles is up hill but not too steep. The trail comes to the overlook very abruptly due to the close vegetation but the overlooks are easily accessible.
