Aloha Desolation Trail (#17E40)

Lake of the Woods makes an excellent destination for both day trippers and backpackers, with pretty coves and campsites. The trail is a straightforward singletrack that follows the edge of Lake Aloha with excellent views. Once leaving the lake, there is just one short hill that leads down the to Lake of the Woods. This area is quite scenic, so take your time before returning to the PCT, or to other destinations.
