Fern Canyon Trail

When combined with Vandeventer Trail, this is a beautiful loop. Start at the Indian Canyon trading post heading south on the Palm Canyon Trail, then head up and east on the Vandeventer Trail onto well-maintained, rolling singletrack through a desert plateau that turns north and back west to descend through the dry Fern Canyon wash and several small palm groves back to the trading post. The start and end of the trail feature 500 feet apiece of moderate climb and descent.
