Olympic Hot Springs Trail

Follow the remnants of what was once a road to a resort for about 2.5 miles on mellow grades, hopping over the occasional stream. Upon arrive at Crystal Creek, the trail descends to a log bridge crossing the creek then climbs up to the resort's former parking lot. At this point, there is a fork in the trail. Go straight and you'll head toward the Olympic Hot Springs (follow the sulphur odor). (The road grade ascending on the right climbs to the Boulder Creek Campground). After about 0.25 mile you'll turn left and cross a bridge over Boulder Creek (if you go straight the trail turns up to Boulder Creek Campground). Continue ahead and there are several small pools here to choose from. The smell of sulfur is indicative of the nature features and the temperatures vary from lukewarm to hot tub temperatures. Hike further in for the warmest pools. Most pools only reach your waist while you are sitting. Please be sure to pack out ALL your waste.
