Description
Just off Highway 138, and only a few miles from Interstate 15, this has become one of our family favorites. With several good views of Mormon Rocks, this trail is a pleasure to hike when the weather is cool or overcast. Trails are singletrack, sandy, and loose with some good exposure along the ridge. They can be a little sketchy while carrying a baby in a backpack, but seem an appropriate difficulty for an active 5-year-old. There is a low branch that stays mostly in the bowl containing the ranger station, if the ridge doesn't do it for you. Start at the wooden fence by the driveway, or alternatively next to the ranger station.
