Description
The Shelton Lakes Recreation Path is a 4.5 mile crushed stone multi-use trail great for families and dogs, bikers, and even horses (no motorized vehicles). It's wide with an easy grade and handicap accessible. Start at either end, or at any of the plentiful parking lots and pull-outs along the way. Parallels the Paugussett Trail but is much easier (and drier). Passes by Elklund Garden and the Shelton Dog Park as well as several pretty reservoirs.
