Description
The Ensign Peak Trail starts from a small trailhead off Ensign Vista Drive. There is no parking area and the street is residential, so be respectful when rolling up. From the trailhead, you'll immediately begin climbing the moderately steep trail. Though the grade never really eases, you'll find that the well-maintained trail is quite manageable for the family. There are open views along the entire length of the hike but they are especially great at the summit where you can sit and rest for a bit while soaking it in. This is a popular option for sunset watching too.
