Description
Start this trail from the parking area at Gaviota State Park, right off of Highway 101. Gaviota Beach borders the parking area and you can head down the coast (to the east). After hiking along this peaceful stretch of coastline for a little over two miles, you'll come across Vista Del Mar, a 1/4 mile length of beach with a a diverging trail that climbs up the bluffs. Soon after passing Vista Del Mar, you'll reach San Onofre Beach, at which point the Gaviota Coast Trail comes to an end.
