Description
The trail starts at the entrance of the park, before the toll booth. It curves off to the right and generally descends. This is the hardest part of the trail. The trails winds around the outside of the park and leads across a strip of power lines. It then loops back and climbs through a series of switchbacks. Most people take the route around the lake. There is also a small playground at the entrance with water fountains and bathrooms.
