Description
Part of the Ma and Pa Rail Road rail bed, this trail is a great intermediate route in the Pleasantville area. To access the trail, hop the guardrail and climb from Pleasantville Rd to the rail bed. Continue on the rail bed to a left turn, where the track will drop to cross a stream. From there, you'll need to climb back to the rail bed, which you'll keep following for a short distance. Soon, you'll be able to see where the railroad crossed the Little Gunpowder Falls. After the crossing, the trail leaves the rail bed to become awesome singletrack with multiple ups and downs to get to Bottom Rd. Turn left on Bottom Rd to get to the Little Gunpowder Trail (Hartford Rd to Bottom Rd) continuation of the trail.
