Description
The section of Trail #258 connecting Trail 257 and Trail 79 (Caribou Ridge NRT) on Coeur d'Alene Mountain is a mostly flat and very easy trail following an old overgrown logging road. There are no views to speak of, tall thick trees blocking the view across the valley. Good alternate route when hiking Trail 79 (Caribou Ridge NRT) to Coeur d'Alene Mountain, turning a regular out and back into a loop.
