Start uphill with a lot of rolling rock ribs, generously marked with green paint. There are a few short downhill sections, but it generally climbs at a low angle.
After a mile of mixed singletrack and slickrock, you'll encounter an enormous swath of slickrock and some bumpy trail for a little while. Continue on a mix of dirt singletrack and short patches of rock that takes you to the top of the bluff for a great view over the Salt Valley and Arches National Park beyond.
Hike relatively flat trail along the top of this plateau on much easier dirt singletrack with nice swoops until you intersect Baby Steps North and Baby Steps Loop.
