Nursery Loop

The Nursery Loop is a nice, one-mile loop that starts by the edible garden right across from the visitors center. With a mix of gravel and pavement, it's an easy hike that gives a great view of one of Bernheim's many lakes. While you'll be away from the road on the way out, once you begin your return journey, the path will share a tread with the road. Not to worry, car traffic is one-way, and the painted lines indicate that hikers have rights to half the road!
